I really have not done a whole bunch bike wise since my last tear down if the rear end of my KLR to check bearings and lube all. Did look at the new style shock and saw what Fred had said about the plastic interfering with spring removal. I would of had to modify my homemade tool by wacking off a bit more with my torch but chose to just leave the stock '09 ?? shock as is.  And, a weird problem carb wise seem to correct it's self from running too rich on the idle circuit after a few carb tear downs in which I could fine nothing wrong or stopped up.  Been occupied with my boat more in the last few weeks than my bikes even though I generally ride on one of them 2 of 3 days. And, check this site near every day to see what's happening.
