link length, fork compensation

Post by jwflower53 » Sun Oct 26, 2014 3:25 pm

1.  My stock ones are 5" on center.  I have two other sets, 5-1/4" and 5-1/2.  How far will they lower the rear? 2.  To compensate for the lowered rear, would I slide the forks up the same distance as the rear end was lowered, at least to start with? -JW

They should make about 3/4 difference each.  Yes on sliding up the fork legs the same.
