When I mentioned the gas canister, I was asked, (TOLD).......
That is just a quart, and a quart is not going to get you anywhere,... is it?
When pampered we can get close to 55-58 miles a gallon,
So a quart could get you 13-15 miles, if pampered at 35+- mph .
MOST areas (except Moab & Death Valley) 1 quart could, get you back to PAVEMENT, where other bikes, cars, etc., are, there for, ALOT easyer to get help. (A ride to a station, siphon gas, etc etc etc.)
There are others like me that carry a can in the back of there truck, for those stranded road side.
And have seen many bikes on the road (freeway) just a few miles away from an exit/station.
Besides, I also carry a whisper-lite Multi-fuel stove. ( multi 4 types of fuel)
