oil changes nklr
An added benefit: If you want to challenge some cad to a duel, during or after the oil change, you can take off your nitrile glove and slap the low-life in the face. The oily smudge on his face will only reinforce your point.

That s the way I do it, but find it works even better when I'm wearing the nitrile gloves

How I remove the oil plug (when warm):
1. Break it loose with a ratchet.
2. Place the middle finger of my left hand in the center of the bolt head
3. Loosen the bolt with my right hand, keeping light pressure straight on the bolt head with my left.
4. When you feel that you've completely unscrewed the bolt (you'll feel the thread "click"), simply tilt and pull the bolt out; you won't get a drop on you.

685 kits
My 2004 was run with a non functioning oil pump (a year ago it was a non functioning water pump) and I'm wondering if 685 kits is way to repair the damage caused by these 2 failures. Bike has 35,000 miles
you may think you can, & you make think you can't... and you're right!!
