upgrade headlights

Post by Mark Harris » Thu Nov 21, 2013 10:01 pm

I use a 100 watt H7 and two 900 lumen Rigid Industries 4 led auxiliary lights mounted on the bottom bolt on my front fork lower tree. Good light with the LEDs on and low beam on the headlight and no issues from oncoming cage drivers. With high beam and LEDs, nice clear road night vision. Mark in Nevada Sent from my iPad instead of landsailing at 126.1 mph !!!!

help, phone plans??? (non bike)

Post by mark ward » Sat Nov 23, 2013 10:42 am

Hey all (who KNOW)

I have "heard" Straight talk, (walmart) Unlimited T,T,&Web. for $45. is the same as Verizon, since it uses Verizons towers.

When My flip broke I bought a Verizon $50 a month, unlimited (SLOW web) while looking into a new plan, I text a little (2-5 text a day, most not needed)

Trying to keep monthly cost DOWN, I'm looking at things like "Nook Pads" (BIGGER EASYER to see screen)
to Email, & Google Motels CAMPGROUNDS ETC. and check the weather, when on the road, ONE time purchase FEE, & for Wi-Fi use at MOST restaurants ect, as I'm near towns on trips. (So NOT a lot Techy stuff, needed.)

BUT wouldn't mid some Texting & web access on a phone ALSO, for those IN THE COUNTRY times.

We moved over to Consumer Cellular.  They use AT&T s network.  Not as good of nationwide coverage as Verizon, but gets us by.  Ported our land line and both of our cell phones at no charge.  Very easy to manage monthly use.  Single line basic phone from $10/month to $80 for three smart phones, lotsa talk minutes/messages and 2 gig of data.  I use data mostly from WI-FI to keep the higher number at bay.  10% discount for AARP.  They cell through Sears stores as well as online.     From: jims1800@...
