I like acceleration more than speed. I bet ZX 14's are fun on a freeway ramp. Torque is a good thing also. Harley's don't have speed but they have torque.....which I think has sold a lot of bikes for them. Too many bad things can happen above 100 mph on a car or a bike. Only mods I have on my KLR is Progressive fork springs and recalibrated Speedometer ( magnet job ) . Only different things are the 09 carb with tune-able mixture screw and 09 or 08 shock. Love it just the way it are!!!!
