clutch cables 07 & 08 etc.?

Any differnace? ( I have heard guys in trouble do to there "year", was out of stock. if I remember right, a few yrs ago, the dealer was out of 07's, and as we looked at the NEW 2010+- it looked the same, So we got a "new style" one, the only diifferance was the last few part numbers after the main one, and the PRICE WAS HIGHER!!!! slipped it on, still works great. 500mile Temp fix, it broke at the little ball at the accuator lever by your right foot. Lucky we were a few blocks from a fire dept. (TOOLS etc) I slipped on a small nut, POUNDED it down with a hammer then grinded it a bit to fit into the slot.
