motorcycle and bicycle pull cable termination

Google something about soldering cable ends and it turns up a lot of info, some pretty good. One guy recommends using methyl hydrate to clean the cable before soldering. Below is a decent link to a page that discusses motorcycle cable ends and at the bottom of the page a link to soldering the ends on. http://www.dansmc.com/cables.htm Alan Henderson A13 Iowa

supertrapp muffler ids2

Post by snowcrash007 » Sat Feb 25, 2012 11:45 am

My 2003 KLR came with a supertrapp IDS2 when I bought it in the fall and I had to winterize it very soon after so I don't have much time on the bike so far. I am told it is the quiet core model (but I am not sure how to verify) and I don't know how many discs are in it. Anyone have one of these? If so how many discs is best for city/highway driving?
