Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent mechanic to take my KLR650 to in the Dallas area. I am in Carrollton, TX and aware of Carrollton Kawasaki. I spoke with them a bit but they did not seem to energetic about the work.
Thanks

The service went great. I brought the bike in at 9:am when they
opened and waited for it. They had to wait about 2 hours for the
motor to cool down before doing the valve adjustment. I got to watch
the mechanic work on my bike and he showed me how to adjust the
valves. No other dealer/service I know will show you how to
fix/service your bike. How do you like your ZX6R? I asked them to
call me when the next (green) ZX6R came in. I'm 95% sure I want one.
How is the vibration compared to the KLR? From what magazine articals
say it is the smoothest 600 out there.
Thanks
