winter grade oil question

Hi, Not wishing to start up this thread again, a comment on KLR and synthetic oil. I changed the 250 from Motul semi synthetic 15/50 to Silkolene pro4 synthetic. This difference, well a shift like a hot knife through butter, smoother clutch action. Very clean internals. Besides.............life blood of the engine, its red too. So I changed the 650 to BelRay EXS 15/50. Shift is headed the same way, it felt immediatly better and has improved further over the last 300 miles, 150 on dirt. A clutchless shift is hardly noticable. Every thing just feels better too. So what the heck that its expensive. Regards Brian A14 D17
