Hi, I still haven't receive the countershaft seal from kawaski; it's backorder! I manage this afternoon to remove the old seal with a metal srew and I found out that it is a NOK seal. I browse the web an found a nok web page. On the seal I can see a some other letters like XAX but I can't find a match on the web. Does someone can confirm the XAX letter before I meet a bearing expert?

Jim,
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Offer your price, the worst
that they can do is say "no". How about asking for some deal
"sweeteners"? New helmets? Service manuals? Riding accessories?
"Free" 600 mile service? It's a lot easier for a dealer to
bundle $500 in accessories with a new bike sale, instead of
taking $500 "cash" off the top.
Others have reported "out the door" prices for new KLRs in the
$4600 - $4800 range (sales tax NOT included).
Good luck!
