While on the last x-country run on the KLR, I had my Jesse panniers stolen out of a storage locker near Salt Lake City airport while on a short business trip. I called Tim and he let me come to his shop in Boise for immediate installation of the SUV racks and pannier boxes. He let me use his shop, and he was more than generous with his personal time and the time of some of his employees to get me back on the road. From the time the theft was discovered it was only two days (including my overnight in SLC, riding to Boise, and installation of the new gear) to get back on the road. This was not an easy thing for Tim. He was backordered on some of the items, and made special accomodations to get the stock to me. Stuart>Though there are others in the KLR after-market arena, I can say the one >dealing I had with Tim left me thinking how if all businessmen were as >kind, caring and decent as him, the 'ol "Caveat Emptor" bit would be >just a couple of words in a dead language we'd have no use for.
