KORG'ers-
Just replaced my bent fork tubes and now I have a clicking sound coming
from the left fork when the forks are forcefully uncompressed. I
replaced the seals with Leak-Proof's from Fred and used the washer
included with the seals between them and the dust seals. I filled the
forks with 420ml of 10W Bel-Ray fork oil and I tightened everything to
spec. I assembled both fork legs exactly the same, but only the left one
is clicking. I almost sounds like there is space between my progressive
spring and the spacer... Didn't do this before I replaced the tubes.
Any ideas? I have retightened both the hex bolt on the bottom of the
fork and the forkcap to no avail... So I have to defer to the list for
help!
TIA,
Zack

I'm selling my KLR. Too many babies and not enough time.
Located in NW Alabama. Bike is in perfect shape. 3000 miles.
Full service completed(valves adjusted), and I just relubed the
whole rear end for good measure....and repacked the front and rear
wheel bearings.
Bike has Moose bash plate and I'll throw in the 14 tooth sprocket and
both service manuals.
5 oil changes in 3000 miles.
Your're not likely to find a more pampered KLR.
Don't be afraid to make an offer....I'm impulsive and I just might
have a new toy on my mind the day you call.
You can contact me over the weekend at:
256-757-7037 or at kdt1@...
ken.trull@... will not be checked again until Monday.
Enjoy,
Ken.
