On a side note I got 2 big bonuses for completing the job. 1) The engine is much throatier sounding now. 2) Gas mileage is greatly improved...I was hitting reserve at about 170-180 miles regularly (riding mostly one-up) and the first ride after the adjustment(heavily laden and 2-up) I made it to 211 miles! Now that's more like it. That represents a jump from about 37 mpg to almost 46mpg!!! Definitely worth half a day off the bike. Only drawback is the vibration seems more noticeable.
