eGroups responds to me finally, how lame can you get? Here's a canned email response that I got from eGroups and my response to them. This is so lame, its embarrassing. -Ed -----Original Message----- From: Ed Boyd To: 'eGroups Support' Sent: 9/16/00 11:05 AM Subject: RE: Not rec'g emails from eGroups I'm still having problems and so are the rest of the 800 people from the group that are not rec'g emails either. -----Original Message----- From: eGroups Support [support@...] Sent: Saturday, September 16, 2000 10:49 AM To: EdB@... Subject: Re: Not rec'g emails from eGroups Hi, If you are having trouble receiving messages from your group, here are a few things you may check: First, confirm that the group exists and that you are a member. To do this: 1. Visit your My Groups page. 2. Look for the group name. 3. If the group name does not appear:    a. You were unsubscribed from the group.    b. The group was deleted. If the group name does appear: a. Your subscription to that group is set to "Web only/No mail." Choose "Daily Digest" or "Individual Emails" from the Deliver Options section. b. There may be a problem with your eGroups account. If there is an "email account is bouncing" error message near the top of the page, click on the error link for details. You can also check your bounce history at the bottom of the "My Profile" page of your account. If there is no such bounce error message, please contact our Customer Support team with the following information: * the email address you used to register with eGroups * the names of one or more groups you joined * he date you stopped receiving emails from your group(s) Have you checked the group archives to see if there have been any recent postings to your group: 1. Check the archives to view the last posted message by signing into your account. 2. From the "My Groups" page, select the group name in question. 3. Select the "Messages" link. This will display a list of all recently archived messages.  If you do not see the "Messages" link, or it is not clickable, then the group owner/moderator has disabled this feature for archiving.  You will have to contact them directly to find out if there has been any recent activity.  You can contact a group owner at:    groupname-owner@egroups.com (replace [groupname] with the name of your group). Or, did you recently change your email address? Make sure you entered it correctly and that the email address you entered is valid and operational, and that you have replied to the eGroups confirmation message. If you're still having problems, please contact us. We appreciate your patience.
