to slime or not to slime ?
Bob,
I installed "heavy duty" slime and have not noticed any ill
effects. Both Gripster tires were faily new & balanced
before they were slimed. To cut down on slime-ing my tire
pressure guage, I position the valve stem at 5:00 - 7:00 &
wait 5 or more minutes for the slime to drain out of valve
stem. This works better than positioning the valve stem in
the 10:00 - 2:00 position.
Several listers have reported good results with Slime's
sealing abilities. You can use the eGroups SEARCH feature
when logged on to the website, to check out Slime posts.
