[dsn_klr650] new name?

Post by Dash Weeks » Tue Sep 05, 2000 3:17 pm

Hey Folks, I forgot what KLIC stood for but I was thinking..... I like KORG but the opposition seems abundant. Then while eating lunch, I was thinking about KIRA - KLR International Riders Association (IKRA?) IKOA - International KLR Owners Association Many appologies if they are duplicates of another lister's idea.... I haven't had time to pay attention much. ????? Don't be thinkin' while your eatin'. You 'spozed to be thinkin' while you is workin'. But, if you want to think BIG, expand your scope of the "club-klique" to include Dual Sport - all bikes. It dilutes the KLR influence (which some may not like) but it would pave the way for a club-organization that could offer some worthwhile benefits. BMW-MOA 30,000 members, AMA 250,000 members, KORG 60 members (600x10%). DSN could play an important part. Did it not start out as a KLR news letter? I don't care what you ins do, I already got my Barney stickers. "I love you, you love me........." yes, Knot has kids! Knot - thinks it time to go home

I just looked again and must have missed it last time. It looks like B. Jr., in post 9826, originated the moniker *KORG*. Now if we actually use it or not is up to the collective... == Rev.
