front sprocket oil leak / nklr
I have some oil leaking from behind the front sprocket. I checked the
exploded view in the manual and behind the front sprocket is in order:
collar
o-ring
transmission output shaft
Looked through the archives and could only find the possibility of the chain
being too tight and thus causing an oil leak.
My question is:
Could the o-ring be bad?
Can this problem be taken care of without the cases being taking apart?
It is a 1993 KLR with 40,000 miles.
I'm going to Copper Canyon on Friday the 8th and I'm concerned this could be
a potential problem.
Any help would be mucho appreciated
Thanks
