[dsn_klr650] nklr - dual sporting boots?

Go for the motocross boots. They offer siginifcantly more protection than trials boots and are quite comfortable once they break in. If you would like to look at something new, look around for a dealer that carries the new top of the line Sidi boots which have hinges in the ankle area. They are apparently more comfortable than normal motocross boots. By the way, the more expensive boots ( such as the Alpinestar Tech 8s and the new AXO RC5s) offer much better construction and better quality materials than the cheaper boots. The top of the line boots use full grain leather whitle the cheaper boots only use top grain (thinner) leather. They also offer much more elaborate protection systems. I personally use the older top of the line model Alpinestar Tech 7s . Once they broke in they became very comfortable. Don't skimp on boots!. Your feet contain numerous small bones that can break quite easily in certain situation and are very hard to fix! The more expensive boots will last virtually forever so the initial investment isn't really as bad as it seems. John F klr650 drz400s
