In Washington State there are 4 levels of motorcycle endorsement on the drivers license. Y- Motorcycle instruction permit. 1- Motorcycle 150cc or less 2-Motorcycle 500cc or less. 3-All motorcycles. You must qualify on say a 650cc bike to get the #3 endorsement (I got my endorsement on a SL125 ears before this law was in effect so have been grandfathered in with a #3...woulda been tough to do it on a CB750 at that age !)
