I don't know about dual sporting ever becoming a significant piece of the
American motorcycling pie, but I too envision a large increase in
the use of motorbikes here as gas prices continue to rise while the supply
of the stuff decreases. It's interesting that the newsletter "Daily Rider"
comes from Minnesota of all places. With high quality , functional riding
gear like Aerostitch available, commuting in northing climes is doeable for
the hearty folks.

Enjoy things now......my bet is, in the next 20 years dualsport
bikes will be running around like SUV's are today. The bottom
will fall outta Harley and the Cruisers..............and we'll
have 100% more vehicles on what are 10%
of the trails today.
We have the best of times.....right now......
