trailering mc's

When I trailer my bikes, I only tie down the fronts at the handle bars.  Is this what others are doing, or do you tie down the rear too?  I havn't had a problem yet, except that my straps are showing some wear due to abrasion with the sides of the trailer.  I would like to know more about what the rest of you are doing.  I'll be trailering the bikes up to Northern Michigan tomorrow.  Maybe I ought to be strapping down the rear ends too.  Thanks in advance for any advice.   Bruce Bordt (A14 & TW200) Milford, MI
