swiftwater rally

Post by SpenceB489@aol.com » Fri Sep 01, 2000 4:33 pm

Hello Listers, I'd hadn't seen any posts on this so I had to ask: did anyone go to the Swiftwater Rally last week? I was hoping to get to go but unfortunately I couldn't so I thought I'd find out how it was. Also, I've heard that the Corbin seat for the KLR650 lowers the seat hight 1 1/2" over stock. Does anyone have one and what do they think of it. Thanks, Brian Y2KLR

Two rocket bikes already crashed today on highway 2 (Angeles Crest, the deadliest rocket highway in America). And the weekends just beginning. Not sure if there were fatalities, but one plowed into a Ranger's truck. Both riders were in critical condition, the last I heard. Be careful, and race rocket bikes on closed courses only. This happened just down the street from were I live. http://www.idahopress.com/pict-of-the-day/index.html
