elden---camchain tensioner

Bros- I have been made aware of three instances where a cam chain system failure has taken out motors. My deduction on this(including one instance with a bike 6 mo old---2kmiles) is that the problem must be in the intermittent fluke failure of the automatic adjuster.......... With this adjuster, alot of slack has to be taken up........and its pushrod is held out by only a small amount of metal edge..... of the the ratchet........ If there were some eccentric, like me, who wanted to further bulletproofize his cam chain system.......Do you know where some one who could machine a racing type 'manual cam chain adjuster'?? You know like with a lock nut and all? Tob
