List, I am one of the fortunate and few to have acquired one of Chris Krok's sharkfins. Probably many of you have seen the picture he posted of this device installed on the KLR. It looks every bit as good on my bike as it does in the photo. I found the finish and especially the fit to be as close to perfect as I believe is humanly possible. For value received I don't know when I've ever done better on an investment. Really, in appearance this thing is one fine work of art. In terms of strength, due to design, it would easily support the weight of the bike. And it absolutely looks like it belongs there. I know many of you have lavishly praised the work of Tim B. and Arne L. (among others) for the quality of workmanship they produce. I wish I had personal experience of their work as quality of workmanship always generates my deepest respect. I believe Chris's work is of at least equal excellence. As a tradesman whose work is also judged on quality of craftmanship and detail, I believe I have the background to know what I'm talking about. thanks, eric
