Terry, if you comb the archives my guess is you'll find the list split on the use of taller windshields...some felt it made things worse others like them quite a bit...I used an 8" over Clearview and liked it...they now make a heavy duty model for the KLR which you must specify when you talk to Craig... Dual Star Centerstands are the best available and work very well. I had one on my KLR and then urged Mike Walburn to build one for the DR...which he has...don't be surprised if you have to wait to receive one... Kurt
