[dsn_klr650] re:nikasil bores and tube/tubeless tires

nikasil lined jugs on an air cooled engine probably help with the problems encountered with thermal shock. There is also minimal dirt and soforth in an aircraft engine that would possibly cause scoring and peeling/flaking of the coating. Not so with a water cooled dirt bike engine IMASO. (In my arrogant speculative opion) James in S.C.
