let me tell you!!

Just got back from a full day's ride. I was riding for a while on the NYS Thruway, where the traffic is 75+ all the time. When I got off I had to pull off the road and rip my helmet off because of the pain in the ears from all the noise and constant head buffeting from the wind. The bike really loves speed, that's not a problem, it's the wind buffeting that kills you. Can a higher rise windscreen cure this?? Any other ideas??? Thanks, Rob (Still loves his A-13!!)

Yep, they make huge dif. I swear by Hearos brand found at most major drug stores. They also have a model called Rock Hearos for those who have kids who will be going to loud concerts. They have a small, plastic tube in them that allows a little more unfiltered sound in for clarity. Gino

positioning bolt

Oh wise Dual Sporters, I've recently developed a small but noticable oil leak in the Positioning bolt area on the clutch side of the engine. Obviously this bolt postions the shaft assemble. Mine does not tighten (thinking stripped) What exactly does it do and how can I stop the leak? Is it ok to take the bolt out without loosing the postioning of the shaft? The manual also talks about a seal if the shaft is removed. Is this a simple pull out, replace, and install? The clutch is one area of the engine I've never messed which in all my bikes through the years. Maybe I've ben lucky. Your knowledge is appreciated on this issue. Barry A-7
