what other than a klr?

HI I was thinking about purchasing another bike for the purpose of super, super long endurance riding Not selling the KLR but complementing it. and I was thinking about an older r-100 RT or a concourse mainly because when it starts to get really wet or cold you can't beat the windsheild and fairing and comfort of a real touring bike, I know, I have done many 500+ mile days on the KLR and besides the perfect riding position and on road/off road capabilities I really would like the benefits of a full touring bike. Am I losing my mind? Have you had the same thoughts? Are you also sick of wearing your fairing on you, in the form of a rainsuit? I don't know what to do? -neil
