As a Flyer of the MH-53E Helo and 1000 hours of flight time with HM-15 of Corpus Christi, TX I can say that earplugs WORK!!!! I have been told that if you have "ringing" in your ears you have suffered hearing damage in some part of spectrum. If some of you like to listen to music while on long rides I strongly reccomend Base Monsters by Collett Electronics of Canada. You can hear the music through earplus very clearly also. I have used this method with my KLR w/IDS1 and CBR1000 w/o any problems. But if you you want more volumn try the Boostaroo. Both of these products can be found in the Aerostic h catalog or use your brouser of choice. God Bless the brave 2 pilots and 4aircrew of aircraft 02 that went down and 2 aircrew made it out. God help the families of those who did not make it. :-( Kurt Thomas AT1 USN Naval Research Lab Flight Support Det NAS Patuxent River, MD Prior @ HM-15 NAS CC TX
