The guy gets kicked for advertising a community? Seems a little prejudiced as others have advertised communities and they are still on the list. Im sure there will be a "but" to this one.

If your talking about me, then maybe I'll throw in another 2 cents worth here. The new guy is starting a new KLR club. I have to ask WHY? You cant find any better source for info on the KLR than right here on DSN_klr650. I started my club, Dixie Dual Sport MC before this list was on Onelist. And I thought it'd be a good place to post pictures and stuff that wasnt possible with the old list. That has changed now with Onelist. Yeaaaa! But I still have my little club. It is not a KLR club. It is a Dual Sport club. I have a XR250 too. And our members have all diferent kinds of DS bikes. DDSMC is also used by some of us locals to get together and ride. I kinda doubt everybody on this list cares about that. I dont think that guy deserved to be cut off, but thats not my call. Anybody thats somebody knows where to find the mother load of KLR info. And thats right here on DSN_klr650. That club is gonna die a slow death anyway. MotorMark

Its not the point of WHY or how long it has been around. Big deal if someone advertises a club or for sale items. If people are interested they'll bite. The guy was kicked for advertising a club, anyone think maybe he didnt know? Could Arne have sent him an email saying "hey no advertising your club here". Sure he could of.

I'll keep mentioning the Continental TKC-80 tires everytime I see this question asked. They are priced a bit more but last longer, so do the math. They are great both on and off road. I've got over 8000 kms (5000 miles) on my present set (unfortunately mainly highway :( and the front is barely showing any wear and I think the rear is between half and 2/3 worn. Amazing. I find zero squiminess with them. Sidewalls are friggin stiff!!! so they are great air-downed off road. If you can only run one tire, I feel this is them. Check em out and decide! Karl

No problem... See? I'm not predjudiced at all... Just don't send any photo's please. This guy started up another KLR650 community/list and (without asking) attempted to mine this one. How long would I last if I walked into a pub with a couple coolers full of beer and set up in the corner and started making sales? About as long as he did. Arne
