[dsn_klr650] nice article on our beloved bike
I thought his comments regarding the brakes were
interesting.
"The rear crossdrilled rotor is almost as big as the
front, I've read some other articles about the KLR
dogging the brakes but I have yet to experience any
type of fade even with two up riding. Some of us can
ride, and some can't."
"Some of us can ride, and some can't." What ever does
he mean ?
I have grown to accept the brakes for what they are
but I still have some really scary moments swopping
between the KLR and my Ninja. The KLR's engine braking
is so awesome the brakes become redundant when
cruising anyway.

no, but on occasion, they do go out of business. natural selection among the cage st^H^Hdealerships. i think the glitzy image is part of the whole dealership thang, & yes, i think the cage ones tend to make buttloads of money. bike ones, OTOH, are pretty much in it for the love of biking, not for the big payout. i have yet to meet a wealthy m/c shop owner, but i've met quite a few who were just hangin' on. gears, ye wilde ryder -- wallace@... 99 zx-9r "blue bayou" 98 vtr-1000f "stormy" zwallace@... 86 cr-250 "dirt devil" 00 sv-650 "zipper" "& you were using your friends as a berm." -- RP 83 v65 magna "nasty" FoJ#002...AMA#456832...JHLO#002...COP#000...CCS#SW969...Support the RKBA>Has anyone ever seen a poor car dealership owner?
