Knot's PD rant got me thinking. Honda does make a PD replica even though they don't race the PD -- the Africa Twin. That 750 v-twin rally bike is exactly the bike I want. It's lighter than the BMWs, especially the new ones; it's got more power; it's smoother; it's cool. But, of course, they won't bring it to the US.
