Calis, I go on to reserve at the 5 gallon point, leaving about 1 gallon in reserve (doing the 3 dip trick) and have gone 40 more miles, finally filling up with very little gas left in the tank. Were you still doing 80 mph while on reserve? I get 42-45+ mpg with my KLR fully loaded & doing 75-85 mph, but I fill up before I go on reserve at those speeds. Q.
