Just received from JC Whitney a $54.50 Travel Trunk (part # 1RN3068T), $67.25 delivered. Made by Emgo, this removable trunk locks on and off an included rack, can be carried like BMW hard luggage. Big enough to hold a full-face helmet, too. Biggest problem with the installation was the round-head machine screws which did not allow box to lie flush on rack and lock. Replaced with SAE's I had lying around the garage. Rear metrics are same thread size and long enough to slip into the two frontmost screws that hold the Kaw plastic rack to the aluminum sidepieces. Took me an hour to mount properly, looks pretty good, very BMW-like, only downside is that the factory tool kit is not longer acceable (I removed mine before installing). I highly recommend this box, think it's a great value. Pete the cheap Streak
