[dsn_klr650] nklr torque wrenches

Post by bmgecko » Fri Jul 21, 2000 1:37 pm

I shoulda said that at work, out torque wrenches get calibrated every 90 days. When you're working on an airplane (especially the national treasures I get to work on) you really need to set the bolt to 165 inch punds when the data tells you to. If you don't use the proper tool for the job, the integrity of the repair is zilch, as well as disobeying a direct order from the Secretary of the Air Force (or proper authority at the level for a local technical order..) Chris (just had ta clarify t-wrenches in my life...) Astier

I always try to buy Snap-On tools but unless you know a professional mechanic they might be hard to come by, my second choice would be Craftsman. Ed Windsor Oh
