Hi Rich, There is a ton of room behind the Horn. Not much at all under the seat. OOPs and no I don't know anything about paging M/C alarms. LaterZ Dash>Has anyone fitted a paging alarm to their KLR? [dsn_klr650] paging alarms
Rich,
I had the Python Model 650 and the pager system installed on my Y2K
almost a year ago. The brains are under my brains (the seat) a tight fit
butt (hahaha) they got it in(not funny). I had them install a switch on my
bike so I could have the choice to have the audible on/off. It is basically
a motor kill system only. I could have had the guidance detection installed
which would activate the bike if someone is within the set distance. The
tech said it is very sensitive on motorcycles, so I declined that option.
The pager is a bit large and it is said to have a two mile radius pending on
the surrounding area. But, just think, the pager goes off and you are 2
miles away from your bike. Then what?
My insurance dropped another 15% with it on so overall it was an
investment and keeps me at rest. I don't carry the pager anymore, the
novelty wore off I guess.
Aloha,

I seem to remember seeing a post on the appropriate procedure for
doing a home service of the uni-trak.....but cannot find it anywhere.
Any suggestions. Thanks.
