[dsn_klr650] key blanks

Post by steve secrest » Tue Jul 18, 2000 6:17 pm

The blank I have is a KW14P by Silca. It has a large plastic head but we also have the plain head. It doesn't have the Kaw name on it but it didn't cost 8 and half bucks either! ;)

torque spec for 'stat housing?

Some silicone or gasket seal is exactly how I plan to fix such a problem if it ever crops up. And it'll be the permanent fix unless it's consuming it internally. Some liquid gasket is now in my toolbag. Last year on a ride someones case gasket started leaking and it was a close call getting to civilization in time to buy some, and that was minutes before the store closed.
