Hey folks, I just installed a 2nd generation Big Gun on my KLR last night.
Here are my observations so far.
1)It is 6 lbs lighter than the stocker, head pipe and can weigh 8 pounds.
2) The new edition silencers are a bit quieter than the early ones.. The
older style had just a screen for the spark arrestor, the new one has some
kind of metal contraption in the can, looks like an impeller blade.
3) The ceramic coated headpipe looks cool; it will never blue like my old
pipe, but it isn't as shiny out of the box. I know that is real important.
4) It really is a clean looking setup. If anyone would like, I will post
some pics.
CA Stu <-- Back on the road, one new exhaust shim and exhaust pipe later.

For starters, try Midwest Action Cycle. There number is in the back
classifieds section of most motorcycle magazines. If that doesn't work, look
into a newer model that carries the white fender. If you are still
frustrated, consider an Acerbis replacement fender. They make a Rally style
and the Baja style. Both are available in the white. (The Baja catches less
air and therefore stabilizes the front end a bit, at speed) These are
possibilities if you are unable to find a suitable used unit.
