Old Suzuki GS electrical systems are notoriously crappy, which is why GS owners drink warm beer. Oh, wait, wrong subject. Anyway, the GS web page at http://www.gsresources.com/tech.info.html has info on testing electrical systems which should be transferrable to any modern bike. One of the items is a generic procedure written by Ritzo at Electrex. Come to think of it, we have a broad enough audience here that some people might actually get this joke, or even have already heard it...
