a small rotating strobe light on top of their roofs. Kind of a bluish/white. Not law enforcement blue. This makes the vehicle very conspicuous, at least to me anyway. [snip] Any thoughts on this? [snip] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ James, I installed the red & amber LIFEBRITE saftety lights on the FRONT of my A9 before leaving for Moab. These lights are EXTREMELY bright (when properly aimed/adjusted). The bottom line: in 3200 miles going from Seattle to Moab to the Tetons & back to Seattle, ONLY 1 CAR TRIED TO CUT IN FRONT OF ME! It is as if cars can now see me! Without these lights, many cars during any given day would turn in front of me. There are 4 styles of lights available: amber running lights (front) red running lights (rear) red flashing brake lights (continuous while braking) red flashing brake lights (5 seconds only, for Calif) I hooked up the red flashing brake lights so that they only come on when I press a momentary-ON button (& only used them 5 or 6 times during the trip when my 'gut' told me that a car might cut me off). I still have my LOUD dual Fiam horns to use as a rude reminder to the other guy. These lights are awesome!!! I will never ride another bike without them. You can check them out at: http://www.web-rider.net/lifebrite/ (& save 10%) or http://www.lifebrite.com They are also available at some m/c dealers/shops. I recommend ordering the optional stainless steel mounting brackets. I will have a full write-up for the list next week. I have to respond now, due to the recent threads on m/c safety & accidents.
