No, no, no. That wont work. If I find out that the gas tank vent hose is my problem, I'm gonna, 'T' off the gas tank vent hose, close to the tank. One end will go where it goes now, straight down. The other end will go up, somewhere that will stay reasonably dry while I'm pretending my KLR is a jetski. That way, it can still drain properly if it needs too, and it can suck air if the bottom is under water. Or a hard rain.
