new to list and question about bash plates/windscreens

Howdy. After beating the heck out of my R1100RT on the way to Prudhoe Bay last summer, I thought it was time to join the ranks of the Dual Sport crowd. Yesterday I picked up a 1998 KLR650 with 4,000 miles and am tickled pink. The bike is stock and I'm in the accessory hunt. Which bash plate should I go with: Moose or Happy Trails? Is the screen offered by Kawasaki the best choice for a larger screen? I've enjoyed reading the list for the last few weeks.
