Hi All,
I finally received my centerstand from Dual Star yesterday evening.
I installed it this morning in about 5 minutes (including some fooling
around in the shop getting tools, etc.). I must say that the fit and finish
of my stand is excellent. I do find it a little awkward to use, but I'm
sure I'll get the hang of it after a few tries.
I'm wishing for a lift handle like my old 1970's BWM had. Do you all
remember these? Maybe there is a place to mount one. Has anyone done this?
It sure was nice to be able to lube my chain, check the oil, etc. without
having to balance/juggle the bike.
Jim

Hi Dash, I just posted your pics on the egroups site. http://www.egroups.com/files/DSN_klr650/Dash+Weeks+KLR/ If your not logged in, then you will have to log in, click on "files", then on "Dash Weeks KLR". Nice job!! I am especially interested in your seat mod. I picked up another seat a few weeks ago, and havent started working with it yet. You gave me some good ideas. If you want to add future pics to this folder, just go to the link above, and click on "add file". Then upload just like you would a email attachment. It looks like it's gonna be a kick butt KLR! Keep up the good work.
