[dsn_klr650] goodbye
We'll miss you Raamses. I'd have to say that you were pretty near the
perfect example of what a lister should strive for. From your newbie status
to now - you have been nothing but a perfect gentleman. It was a pleasure
to have you around and your presence will be missed.
Take care of yourself!

Subject: [DSN_klr650] Goodbye
OK guys and gals,
It's time for me to exit stage left. I sold my sparkly, 8-month-old KLR
on Monday, so I will be unsubbing from the list. I know it was a
relatively short stay but I guess I'm still young, capricious, and
fickle. If I can sell my "cage," I may be getting a different bike soon
(an SV650). I hope to get another KLR in the future, but that will be
after I have completed my schooling and begin making some real dough.
I hope nobody misunderstands; I loved my KLR, and I miss it already. It
was a very good bike for me to learn on (because of it's durability),
and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a dual-sport. My selling
the bike does not say anything negative about it, so don't flame me for
my decision please. I'm just ready to take my first stab at riding a
streetbike.
I'll miss you folks terribly. Thank you to everyone who always answered
my often-stupid newbie questions. And I genuinely thank you, from the
depths of my heart, to all the folks who prayed for me and my family
during my mom's fight with cancer. You are a great bunch of people!
To try to perpetuate the generosity recently begun by some fellow
listers, As my last contribution to the list; I now have a brand new MSR
shifter (still in the package) that I no longer need, so the first
person to email me, who NEEDS one, can have it (for shipping costs). If
you don't truly need it, just leave it for someone who does.
"Th-th-th-th-that's all folks!" Maybe I'll see you guys in Moab sometime
around the year 2005.
Ride safe and take care,
Raamses
