An old friend did exactly that with Saabs, eventually turning it into a
business enterprise. His other love was doing the same with 1980's Volvos.
Now I'm on that plan. Except that my Volvo will not break, for the 4 years
I've had it, and paid $1150.00
I think Saab/Volvo (particularly 80's models) are the best value for SUV
protection, fuel efficiency, reliability, long distance capability, and
style. And the Saab turbos are awefully fun to drive!
