I like the MSR Enduro gloves. They look like a tanned leather work clove, but have a padded palm and exterior seams which are more comfortable. Not exactly the most fasionable glove, but they fit well, stay cool and will protect your hands. Gino>>My next question concerns summer gloves. >>

I would look at the HJC helmets. I'm leaning towards one of those right now. Not sure of the models - I think there are two- but they fit well and are reasonably priced.

I have been using an HJC Moto-X style helmet for just the above reasons. There has been significant wind turbulence noise due to the helmets aerodynamics, and a resonance noise which sounds like a salad bowl if you strike it with a finger while sitting still. I have successfully alleviated the resonance by various means of dampning such as added layering(s) of alternating thin leather and silicone between the existing(removable) manufacturer chin-ear padding and the shell itself. Additionally, thin criss-crossing layers of silicone on the underside of the visor have helped quiet the Helmet. Other than just the 'wind noise' now.......what I call the 'bowling alley effect', common to most helmets during long distance, is no longer in my brain. HJC, I think, now makes one of those 'open face-full coverage'(the flip up visor and chin guard) types.......I look forward to trying one.......although these models(any brand) are said to be noisy also............ new grips
I just bought a set of Pro-Grip Gel Grips. I had the option of the
firm or hard compound so I got firm (was that right?). Anyway, the
last time I changed grips on a bike (many moons ago) I remember that
it was a real pain. You guys got any suggestions that make this the
10 minute job it should be?
