Pretty cool, but would be cooler if the pages were made of waterproof Tyvek.

one big spring loaded "click," about a 90 degree turn. Factory setting was 1, after the big click it read "dash," and after the second (and last) move it read "5." Try turning it the other direction! Gary Bettes>When I tried to adjust it with the bike on it's sidestand, I felt

Oh yeah, those envelopes will hold a
Delorme Gazetteer and other maps stuff and help keep them dry and clean along
the journey.
Knot - who is a record keeping fool, no - just fool.
ps: if you tie a string to your Sharpie and clip it to your map holder, you
will always have a writing instrument to record the name of those interesting
features discovered along the way and get her phone # (for Honey-less guys
only). Knot happy to be married to Cute Knot. I mean - Knot is happy, not
Knot not happy.
Free Tyvek - Go to the US Post Office or Fed Ex or UPS and get some of those Express mail /overnite big envelopes. Cut them into two pieces, front and back. The inside has a nice white writing surface, fold into a neat 4"x6" square. One envelope yields 360 sq. inches. Combine with an ultra fine point Sharpie pen and you have a waterproof record system that any scribe would envy - more permanent than the dead sea scrolls. I clip mine to my map holder to record my travels. As far a maintenance records, I don't do maintenance, so I need no records> Pretty cool, but would be cooler if the pages were made of waterproof Tyvek. > Mark > B2 > A2
