[dsn_klr650] corbin seat - a no show

Post by Jim & Shannon Morehead » Mon Jun 19, 2000 6:12 pm

Lance, I've been getting similar service from Dual Star. Maybe M/C accessory vendors aren't too concerned about delivering their products in a timely manner. I ordered my Dual Star center stand on May 5 and was told to expect delivery in 2-3 weeks. After the promised delivery time expired, I called back and was told to expect another 2-3 weeks before my stand shipped. I sent Dual Star an e-mail last week to ask about expected delivery, but haven't received a response from them. Has anyone else had similar experience with Dual Star? There was a thread on the list the other day that discussed problems with the Dual Star KLR center stand. Was there a resolution of that problem? Jim

Passenger backrest? If so take a look at the mods page on my site, I fitted a Suzuki Samuri headrest to the KLR and it works great. Can't help with the seat though! --- Rev. No they don't...and Russell probably has a 6 month wait...you're trying to get a seat in peak season I'm afraid you'll find the same story everywhere... Kurt
