If buying used look very close for lack of maintance as this causes more headaches then a well-maintained bike that is ridden hard. Good used small bikes hold high resale but if you're patient good deals will come your way. Never had any luck finding them at dealers as they have long waiting list of people and get top dollar. Pass the word to all your riding buddies and don't be surprised if one of them finds one for you. In my experience all bikers love to help each other in this reguard. I think it has something to do with getting to look but not having to spend the money!
